Peixe Carne

It is neither meat nor fish … it is a balance between the two. In my opinion, the Portuguese proverb “nem é carne, nem é peixe” is understood as something pejorative, something that is not well understood, something new, indefinite, unknown. It seems to me that this intermediate level, sometimes, can also be something extremely positive; a new thought about a reality that only had two faces, but which now has a third that may also be true.
